In the last 5 – 8 years, book marketing has drastically changed. Traditional publishers will typically only market books for 30-90 days. At that point, the author is expected to hire a private marketing agency or market their book on their own. Marketing has become a very expensive proposition. The large traditional houses will not invest in a title unless they believe it has potential to make large profits.
What’s different about Nelson Publishing & Marketing is that we’ve found new and innovative approaches to marketing that not only are successful, but generate multiple sales. For nearly a year, we have been working with a Canadian distributor that market for us in the provinces of Canada.
We coach and teach our authors the step-by-step process to being successful at selling their books to whomever they meet. Their passion exudes as they speak or make presentations to audiences or individuals. We teach them how to turn one sale into multiple sales.
